[Well, that's fair enough. Jaffar does have the ability to say no, even if he often does as he's told, and Legault is not his commander. He has every right to say no if he chooses, and he's chosen not to.]
That's quite flattering.
[And Legault is, for that moment, sincere. 'I don't hate looking at you' is by far the most positive comment about his looks that he ever expected to get from Jaffar. He is flattered.]
[There's a very, very slight split second where Jaffar's cheeks almost look warmer, before he heads off to go hunt.
[Really, hunting animals isn't as tricky as a human - it's all instinct for them - and it doesn't take him long to find a stag and kill it, taking it by surprise. Of course, he's careful not to let much of the blood drip out even after it dies.
[After that, it's just a matter of bringing the kill back. Jaffar himself is slightly covered in blood, but he certainly doesn't pay it any mind as he carefully deposits the carcass before Legault (though he's mindful not to put it too close to wherever he might be tinkering.)
[As he thinks about it, it'll definitely make for a good food source later, as well. Maybe Nino would like it grilled...?]
Think this will have enough?
[It also strikes him that he's Actually Doing This... and his chest is doing some weird fluttery thing behind his ribs. So confusing.]

It'll be fun. I promise. But first - the blood.
